Tasty, but fatty.

I've purchased this product several times. Over all, it's just ok. I rate it as "ok" because I have the ability to regrind it which really is necessary as being packed the way it is makes it tough. If you're using this for something like spaghetti sauce then you'll likely be ok without regrinding it. If you're wanting burgers, forget it. High water content as well which makes it less than ideal for things like kababs or fresh sausages.

Too much fat and water. Do not recommend.

I think it’s good not to much shrinking. I make hamburgers, ground beef, for tacos, and meatloaves.

Very fatty! No way this is 80/20. Occasionally we’ll get a tube that looks right and meat actually looks “red” but usually more pink or white indicating the high level of fat.

Low quality. Pale, excessively fatty, hard to work with.

barely edible. It has lots of hard pieces in it. huge disappointment and waste of money :(

Tastes really good.Good proportion of meat and fat.

It is very fatty and tastes rubbery. The meat has the color of white ( fat) instead of red. Not recommended at all.

Way to much fat and gristle in my last order. This was a light pink and was not good meat.

My last order had some non chewable gristle in it. Prior to that we have been happy with it. It has some fat but most ground beef does-i do not think it was excessive, but the gristle is another problem. Not alot of it but it does not belong in ground beef.

Used to get fine beef from this brand. This batch had tiny bones and way too fat. Beef looked gray and to me that spells OLD. Sad to see vendors using this coop to get rid of their inventory.

I have always bought Solomon's and as it is no longer available in Atlanta, I get it through the coop.
